Pathways to MCAS Success

Did you know..?

In a job application, employers want to learn about you, but they are also looking for neatness and accuracy. Misspelled words and sloppy handwriting will count against you!

“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” — Thomas Edison

Attention, Classes of 2003 through 2012!

Hoping to pass MCAS and get your High School Diploma? Need an MCAS tutor to help you study? Looking for more career information?

The Career Place is here to help!

The Pathways to Success program works with youth in the Metro North area from the classes of 2003–2012 who have not yet passed the MCAS exam.

The program provides students with year round MCAS tutoring/MCAS support services and comprehensive career development services including help obtaining employment and pursuing higher education/training.

  • Youth are accepted from all Metro North Communities. Click here to see the list of Metro North Communities.
  • Eligible youth include any current senior from the Class of 2012 or a youth (from the classes of 2003-2011) who did not meet their school’s graduation or diploma requirements solely due to their MCAS score.
  • Services are provided at community–based locations in Malden, Medford, Somerville, and Woburn.
